The Goldstein Museum of Design is an internationally recognized teaching museum and research center for interpreting the vital role of art in everyday life. It promotes the study and enjoyment of these objects within their social, cultural, aesthetic, and historic contents.

Human Dimensioning Lab
The Human Dimensioning Laboratory (HDL) was established to provide an innovative research and learning facility to design new methods of incorporating human dimensions in the development of wearable products. The National Science Foundation provided initial funding to establish the laboratory. HDL researchers use high tech tools to measure the static and dynamic human form, map the body/product interface, and produce and test prototypes.

InformeDesign is a research and communication tool for designers. Research summaries are added weekly and the site features a searchable database of all summaries that have been posted.

Radon Center/MURC
The Midwest Universities Radon Consortium (MURC) is one of four U.S. EPA Regional Radon Training Centers (RRTCs) established in 1988. The mission of the RRTCs is to provide training regarding the health risks posed by radon and to demonstrate methods of radon measurement and mitigation in residential, educational, and other environments.
